LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference announced their players of the week for baseball on Monday afternoon and the Crusaders Adrian Reed was honored as the WHAC Player of the Week. 

Reed, a senior from Westland, helped lead the Crusaders offense to a 6-0 week as he hit for an average of .556. He was able to collect 15 hits throughout the six games and scored 11 runs. In addition he tallied three doubles and a home run while hitting in nine runs. 

The Crusaders will be back in action on Saturday May 1, as they will go up against Concordia University Ann Arbor in a WHAC matchup, that will also feature senior day for Madonna, with first pitch at 1 PM
