LIVONIA, Mich. -  The seventh-ranked Madonna University Men's Lacrosse team recorded a top ten win Tuesday afternoon against No. 10 Ottawa University (Kan.), 12-10 at the Madonna Athletic Complex.

Both teams held a 2-2 tie at the first quarter break as the Crusaders were led behind junior Jordan Davis and freshman Casey Lyons. Senior Harry Dyson ate into the 5-3 Ottawa lead with a goal of his own before Davis got his second of the day sandwiched by another two Braves goals as Madonna went into the locker room down 6-4. 

The third quarter opened up a plethora of scoring for both teams. Firstly, Madonna went on a 3-0 scoring run for its first lead of the game sophomore Marco McMann twice and Dyson for a second time with 5:17 left on the clock in the period. Ottawa went on a scoring run of their own, leading 9-7, before junior Cole Gingell and Davis capped off the quarter.

With 15 minutes to the win, Dyson, junior Ian Rush, and McMann amped the energy as the Braves' late surge was not enough to take down Madonna.
