  • The Crusaders ended up getting hot in the second quarter after a 17-7 quarter. Once again Boden and Woodard scored the first two baskets for Madonna. Cornerstone would score two buckets before the Crusaders would go on a 10-0 run, with scoring from Woodard, Boden and Allie Terry. Cornerstone would add a bucket before Naomi Daivs would add a three-point bucket that would give the Crusaders a six-point lead at the half.
  • Cornerstone would use a big third quarter after outsourcing the Crusaders by ten to take a firm lead on the game. Other than a 9-0 by the Golden Eagles that two teams went back and forth. With baskets from Josie Piergentili, Megan Aho, April Hudelson, Woodard and Davis.
  • The Crusaders being down four after the third quarter would begin the final period hot as they would score 11 straight including three straight three point baskets from Woodard, Davis and Aho. Cornerstone would respond by scoring 15 of the next 17 points to get a six point lead. Five straight points from Aho would bring the Crusaders within one in the final 10 seconds. Madonna would foul on the inbounds with Cornerstone hitting a free throw. Davis would get a chance with a jumper with three seconds but the ball would end up rimming out of the hoop.
