LEBANON, Tenn.- The Madonna University baseball team recorded one of the programs biggest wins on Friday afternoon as
Noah Renaud delivered a walk-off single in the seventh inning to defeat 10th-ranked Oklahoma City University 3-2 at Cumberland University's Ernest L Stockton field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Stars got on the board first in the third before Adrian Reed drove home Joey Pejuan in the bottom of the frame to tie the score. OCU got a leadoff home run in the fourth and held the lead until the sixth when Noah Moore doubled home Alex Garbacik.
After the pitching staff shut down one of the top offenses in the country, Joey Pejuan led off the seventh with a perfect bunt down the third baseline for a hit, Kyle Aniol sacrificed him over and Renaud singled him home for the win.

FALKNER'S FEELINGS
- "I'm proud of how the guys hung in there and stayed in the game. Donovan Thacker was great today, really commanded the zone and threw some big-time pitches while Noah Moore and Noah Renaud had a pair of clutch hits. Just as important were the guys that set the table to make those hits possible. It was a great team win, but there is still plenty of things we need to improve on. We are excited about the opportunities we have the rest of the weekend." - Head Coach Ted Falkner on the win
