LIVONIA, Mich. – The Madonna University women's lacrosse team was not able to overcome the high powered offense of the receiving votes Siena Heights Saints on Wednesday evening at the MAC. The Crusaders fall to 2-7 on the year and 0-4 in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play while the Saints improve to 4-7 and 2-2 in conference play.

Christy Battersby recorded the hat trick while Dana Haney, Haley Skeens, and Brittany Leist rounded out the scoring the Blue and Gold

Eloise Wilber played the first 16:53 of the contest, making five saves and allowing eight goals before Marissa West made six saves and allowed 12 goals in the final 43:07

Leist led the Crusaders in draw controls with six while Haney (3), Battersby (2), and Kadwell (1) recorded the other six

The Saints outscored the Crusaders 13-2 in the first half and despite a strong start to the second half by MU, the Saints won the second half 7-4
