LIVONIA, Mich. – The Madonna University men's lacrosse team used dominant second and third quarter performances to comeback from an early deficit and defeat the Siena Heights Saints on Tuesday afternoon by a score of 13-10 at the MAC. The victory advances the Crusaders to the second round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament while the Saints see their tournament hopes fall short.

The Saints jumped out to an early 4-0 lead at the 12:51 mark of the second quarter

Ian Rush, Harry Dyson, Cole Gingell, Anthony Salamone and Tyler Kilar all scored goals for MU over the next eight minutes of play, putting MU ahead 5-4

The Crusaders once again outscored the Saints 6-3 in the third quarter, taking a 12-8 lead into the fourth quarter

Strong offensive prowess from the Crusaders put the game on ice in the fourth as they dominated possession and used a late goal from Rush to extend lead to three
