LAKE WALES, Fla.- The Madonna University baseball team began the day with an upset over Bellevue University, who were previously ranked 23rd in the coaches poll, but were not able to pull off an upset over No. 10 St. Thomas University in the nightcap, falling 6-4 as the Bobcats rallied from behind in the sixth and seventh innings.

Jalen Thomas smacked a grand slam in the top of the first to put the Crusaders ahead 4-0

MU added a single run in the second, seven in the fourth, and three in the fifth to reach the 15 run mark

Four different players recorded a single hit for MU while Gordon Ferguson, Frankie Lucska, and Nick Sykes each tallied two

MU scored in four different innings, highlighted by a seven run fourth inning put the game out of reach for the Bruins
