LIVONIA, Mich. – The Madonna University and Northwood University baseball teams are excited to announce they will be playing at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers, on April 23.

First pitch is set for 7 p.m. with gates opening one hour prior. Tickets for the game, which is open to the public, are $10 for adults and $5 for students/children. Generic tickets also will be available the day of the game at the box office located outside gate A, however, custom tickets featuring the Madonna seniors and to support Madonna athletics, must be purchased prior to April 16 at www.mucrusaders.com/baseballtickets.

The first 100 Madonna students to purchase a ticket will receive a free Madonna Baseball t-shirt, courtesy of Burke's Sports Haven, and those that purchase before April 1 will be entered in a drawing to be one of five individuals to throw out the first pitch along with 2016-17 Blue and Gold Award Male and Female Athletes of the Year, Tony Floyd and Karlie Kelly.

Seating will be available in the lower-bowl behind home plate as general admission on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking for the event will be available in lots 1 and 2 located in front of gate A with a cost to be announced. The concession stand behind home plate will be available during the contest. Alcohol will not be provided.

The game will provide the student-athletes the chance to experience life at an MLB facility with the use of team clubhouses, batting practice on the field, infield and outfield as well as full use of the dugouts and bullpens.
