Blue Devils stump @MUCrusadersVB in first-place tilt

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - In a battle of the top two teams in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, the Madonna University volleyball team saw its offense continue to slump in a 3-0 loss to Lawrence Technological University on Wednesday night.

The loss drops the Crusaders to 14-6 on the year and 6-2 in WHAC play while the Blue Devils improve to 13-1 overall and 7-0 in league action.

Jodie Kelly tallied a pair of kills and teamed with DJ Sargent on a block while Olivia Sweeney tallied a pair of service aces in the rally. Unfortunately, the home team scored the next 10 points to take a 19-9 lead and scored the final four points for the 25-15 win.
