Kelci Ramey was elevated to Head Athletic Trainer in August of 2021 after joining the Madonna University Sport Medicine Department in August of 2019. As Head Athletic Trainer for the Crusaders, she is responsible for men’s soccer, women’s basketball, baseball and golf.
Prior to coming to Madonna, Kelci worked as an Athletic Trainer at Athletico Physical Therapy in Royal Oak, Michigan for one year, and Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for three years.
Kelci earned a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training in 2014 from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia. While at Wheeling Jesuit University, she interned for the Wheeling Nailers minor league hockey team and a variety of the university’s sports teams. She was also a member of the university’s swim team for four years. Kelci completed her Master's degree in Kinesiology in 2016 at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. During her time at Lamar, she also served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the men’s and women’s tennis teams.
In her free time, Kelci enjoys staying active and competing in Ironman triathlons. Kelci and her husband, Matt, currently reside in Waterford.Â
