Pietras joined the Madonna men's lacrosse staff in the fall of 2022. He serves as the program's defensive coordinator.
In his first year, the Crusaders went 8-8 overall and 4-4 in WHAC play. Madonna was defeated by Aquinas in the WHAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
Coach Peaches helped goalie Jeff Varner earn WHAC Defensive Player of the Year honors and First Team All-WHAC. Varner had a historic season with 267 saves, which was a NAIA and WHAC single season record. Peaches also mentored Kent Westrick to First Team All-WHAC honors after leading both the WHAC and NAIA with 54 caused turnovers.
Nick graduated from Lourdes University and is pursuing his MBA from Madonna University.
