No. 1 Crusaders Dominate No. 7 Indiana Tech in Top-10 Showdown

Livonia, Mich. – In a highly anticipated top-10 matchup, No. 1 Madonna men's lacrosse delivered a statement performance, defeating No. 7 Indiana Tech 24–10 on March 25.

The Crusaders set the tone early, exploding for seven goals in the opening quarter to take control of the game. Cooper Regimbal and Benjamin Reidy led the early surge, combining for multiple goals as Madonna built a 7–2 advantage after the first.

Madonna continued its offensive dominance in the second quarter, adding five more goals to extend the lead to 12–4 at halftime. The Crusaders' ball movement and efficiency on extra-man opportunities proved to be a major factor in building the cushion.

Indiana Tech attempted to respond in the third quarter, but Madonna matched the effort, maintaining a comfortable lead heading into the final period.

The Crusaders put the game away in the fourth quarter with a nine-goal outburst, showcasing their depth and firepower. Madonna finished with 55 total shots and controlled possession throughout the contest, winning the faceoff battle 24–11 and collecting 40 ground balls.

Regimbal led the offensive attack with seven goals and three assists, while Reidy added five goals and four assists in a dominant performance. Ross Preston and Jackson Gradstein each contributed two goals and two assists, while Rico Hart added two goals and two assists.

In goal, Jonathan Bendfeldt recorded 15 saves while anchoring a defense that limited Indiana Tech's scoring opportunities despite the Warriors' 40 shots.

Madonna also capitalized on special teams, converting five of its 10 extra-man opportunities while holding Indiana Tech to just one goal on five chances.

With the win, the Crusaders improved to 9–1 on the season and remained unbeaten in conference play, securing a statement victory over a top-10 opponent.
