Crusaders Take Down Blue Devils to Even Season Series

Box Score LIVONIA, Mich. — The Madonna University men's basketball team delivered a complete performance on the road, earning an 84–74 victory at Lawrence Technological University on Saturday afternoon at Don Ridler Fieldhouse.

Madonna came out strong and never relinquished momentum, using balanced scoring and physical inside play to secure a big conference road win. The Crusaders built separation in the second half and held off a late push by the Blue Devils to finish with a double-digit margin.

Senior guard, Ahmoni Weston, led the Crusaders with 23 points, making 8 of 17 shots from the field, including 3 triples, and showing poise in attacking the defense. DeAntwan Randall supported with 18 points and 12 rebounds, anchoring Madonna's effort on both ends of the floor. Guard, Joey Liedel added 16 points and 7 assists, orchestrating the offense with pace and precision throughout the game. Makyle Doss also contributed 17 points off the bench, giving momentum-boosting offense in key stretches.

Madonna controlled the pace early, outscoring Lawrence Tech 37–33 in the first half, and then poured in 47 second-half points to keep pressure on the home team. The Crusaders moved the ball effectively and shot efficiently from the field and free-throw line, which helped maintain their advantage through the final minutes.

With the victory, Madonna moves to 18-6 on the season and will look to continue their dominance with a home game against the YellowJackets of Defiance College. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM at ACCU Arena.
