NOTRE DAME, IND.-- In a thrilling non-league soccer match held on August 27th at Saints Field, the Madonna University Crusaders Men's Soccer team staged an impressive comeback to secure a 3-2 victory against the Holy Cross Saints. The match began unfavorably for the Crusaders, who found themselves trailing 0-2. However, by halftime, the score was leveled to 2-2, providing a glimmer of hope and setting the stage for a dramatic second half.

Daniel Watkins was a standout performer, scoring twice for the Crusaders, marking this his second consecutive game with a dual-goal achievement.
Jin Ogawa scored the decisive game-winning goal, steering Madonna University to a notable win. The assist for Ogawa's goal came from
Ryushin Hirami, adding to the team's offensive strength. Despite falling 2-0 late in the first half the Crusaders were able to overcome the deficit picking up a big win and a big confident boost heading into their next game.Â
