LIVONIA, Mich.-- On December 3, 2025, the Madonna University Crusaders basketball team delivered a strong performance to defeat Cornerstone (MI) 75-64 in a league basketball game held in Livonia, Mich. The victory improved the Crusaders' season record to 8-2, maintaining a flawless league score of 5-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The game commenced with Cornerstone jumping to an early lead with a jumper from Andy Mora, but the Crusaders quickly recovered.
Makyle Doss contributed a major early 3-pointer, helping Madonna establish robust control from the outset. The team demonstrated excellent paint presence and strategic gameplay, which was reflected in their notable halftime lead of 40-27.
Madonna's top performers were prominently visible throughout the game.
Ahmoni Weston led the scoring with 18 points, also adding 5 assists.
Joey Liedel and
Makyle Doss were significant contributors as well, with Liedel's crucial 3-pointer in the second period reinforcing their lead. Defensive efforts were spearheaded by
