Despite their strong effort, the Crusaders were narrowly defeated, with a final score of Cornerstone 3, Madonna 2. This closely contested event highlighted the spirit and skill of both teams, especially during the deciding sets.

The five-set battle commenced with Cornerstone claiming the initial set at 25-18. However, the Crusaders made a robust comeback in the next two sets, securing them at 25-22 and 25-17 respectively, suggesting a potential victory. The fourth set saw another shift as the Golden Eagles bounced back, winning 25-18 and pushing the game into a fifth and final set.
