The Madonna University Crusaders, delivered an impressive performance in their recent conference game against the Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines on October 11, 2025. Playing at home in Livonia, Mich., the Crusaders dominated the game and emerged victorious with a 4-0 win.
From the outset, the Crusaders showcased strong offensive and defensive strategies.
Hassan Alatooli opened the scoring, which also proved to be the game-winning goal. By halftime, Madonna had established a solid 2-0 lead over Michigan-Dearborn, setting a positive tone for the remainder of the game.
Daniel Watkins and
Ryushin Hirami further extended the lead with one goal each in the second half, while
Mason Winkel capped the scoring.
In addition to the goal scorers,
Daniel Watkins and
Edgar Knoetzsch contributed with key assists, showcasing the team's offensive depth. Goalkeeping duties were expertly handled by
Afonso Henrique and
Oier Mendizabal, who together ensured a clean sheet against the Wolverines.
With this win, the Madonna University Men's Soccer team's record now stands impressively at 12-1-1 overall and 5-1-0 in conference play.
