Dance Competes at the WHAC Championships

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Madonna University dance program traveled to Adrian for the WHAC Championships hosted by Siena Heights. The Crusaders finished third with a score of 73.18. They also announced All-Conference teams at the meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders came into Saturday looking to take home a WHAC Championship. The Crusaders would fall just short taking home third place with a score of 73.18. Aquinas would take first with a score of 90.10. Siena Heights would take second with a score of 82.83. Concordia would come in fourth with a score of 73.03. Marian would come in fifth with a score of 67.52 and Lourdes would take sixth with a score of 59.66. Earning All-Conference awards was Ellen Houseman who was Second-Team All-Conference. Head Coach Lucy Gould would take Coach of the Year honors. Ashley Zimmerman made the Champion of Character team. Lastly, receiving All-Academic honors was Alexandra Beally, Reagan Esch, Emma Schulz, and Ashley Zimmerman


UP NEXT:

The Madonna dance team has finished the regular season. The Crusaders sit in 11th place in the NAIA average scores which qualifies them for Nationals. Their next competition will be the Regional Qualifier Event with date, time, and location to be announced.
