LIVONIA, Mich. - The Madonna University dance program hosted their second competition of the year with the Mitten Matchup and also had senior night to honor their two seniors Ellen Houseman and Emma Schulz.. The Crusaders would take second with a team score of 79.00.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders came into Friday looking to bounce back and get back into the win column. The Crusaders would fall just short, taking home second place with a score of 79.00. Aquinas would take first with a score of  80.30. In third was Lourdes with a score of 70.75. In order for the Crusaders to make nationals they will need to be in the top 12 of highest average scores. The Crusaders currently sit in 11th place to make nationals which sets up a big competition for the team next weekend. 


UP NEXT:

The Madonna dance team will compete again on Saturday, February 17th as they travel to Concordia University. Competition begins at 9:00 AM.
