LIVONIA, Mich. - The Crusaders picked up their second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference victory of the season with a dominant sweep of the Rochester Christian University Warriors today. While it seemed early on that the Warriors were gonna keep it close, the Crusaders would go on to silence them as they would get the 3-0 sweep.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Warriors would get off to a good start as they held the Crusaders at bay early on. Starting off down 11-7, the Crusaders would close in and tie the game at 14-14. The second set would be all Crusaders from start to finish as they blew past the Warriors to take a 25-17 victory.
In the third set, the Warriors would show much more grit as they lead early on over the Crusaders. After being down 11-8, the Crusaders would start a run that they wouldn't let up until they blew past the Warriors and secured the 3-0 sweep with a 25-21 win in set three.
