UPLAND, Ind. – The Madonna University Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams traveled to Upland, Ind. to take part in the Taylor University Ray Bullock Invitational this past Friday. Both the Men's and Women's Cross Country placed seventh in their respective results. The men's team placed seventh out of 13 total teams and the women's placed seventh out of 11 total teams.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Sophomore,
Salah Ensaad, finished the best for the men's team by earning ninth place with a finish time of 26:01.50. The next Crusader's to cross the finish line were
Mehdi Hamoud who finished 43
rd with a finish time of 27:40.50 and
Andrew Langkam who finished 49
th with a finish time of 27:47.80.
In contrast, senior,
Rose Paoletti, finished best for the women's team in 12
th place with a finish time of 23:11.50. Next, junior,
Izzie Lashaway finished 31
st with a finish time of 24:10.30. Following Lashaway up is sophomore,
Alexis Spitzley, who finished 41
st with a finish time of 24:40.90.
UP NEXT:
The Madonna University Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams will be in action next Saturday October 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM when they travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. Both teams will take part in the Great Lakes Regional Challenge hosted by Aquinas College.
