Compeitive Dance Makes History in Season Opener

ADRIAN, Mich. --  The Madonna University Competitive Dance program had their first competition of their 2024 campaign on Sunday, January 21, the Crusaders made history as they took home first place for the first time in program history. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders came into the Halo Classic looking to keep the momentum after taking second place at the WHAC Championship. The Crusaders did just that, taking home first-place with a score of 79.23 which was nearly eight points better than the host team in Siena Heights who finished in second place with a score of 71.47.

"I am so proud of the work and dedication that the team has put in for the competition" said head coach Lucy Gould. "We are excited to keep growing and pushing ourselves this season!"

The Crusaders will host a the Crusaders Classic on Saturday, January 27, doors will open at 10:00 a.m.
