AUGUSTA, Mich. - Earlier this week, the Madonna women's golf team competed at the WHAC Preview from the Stonehedge Golf Course. The Crusaders defeated Lourdes University 3-2, and fell to Cornerstone 3-2 in match play. In stroke play, Madonna finished eighth as a team with a team score of 351.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

In the Crusaders victory over the Gray Wolves, Madonna's three victories came courtesy of Madison Brigance, Sandreea Cueva, and Grace Brees. Brignance was also victorious against the Golden Eagles, while Abby Schell earned the other victory in the 3-2 loss.

Leading Madonna in stroke play was Cueva in a tie for fifth place individually with a 78. The team title went to the University of Northwestern Ohio with a score of 308. The Racers are the defending WHAC Champions.
