PITTSBURGH –  The Madonna University's Men's Soccer Team got their fourth straight win after a victory in Pittsburgh against Point Park University Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders came ready to play in today's game by opening the scoring in the first half at the 39th minute thanks to Ryota Nakajima. After that, the second half saw the Crusaders dominate the Pioneers.

The Crusaders would go on to score 4 more goals in the second half. One by Leonardo Abonizio in the 52nd minute, one by Jordy Lopez in the 67th minute, another from Ryota Nakajima 3 minutes later, and lastly, one from Andres Gomez in the 81st minute. Add it all up and Madonna posted a 5-0 victory  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Youssou Ouendeno gets his first shutout of the season and 6th in his career
• The Crusaders outshot the Pioneers 20-6

UP NEXT:

The Crusaders will be back in action next Saturday, September 24th when they return home to play the University of Michigan Dearborn at 2:00 pm at the Madonna Athletic Complex.
