GOSHEN, Ind- – The Madonna Crusaders men's soccer team delivered a late 3-2 comeback victory against the Goshen Maple Leafs on Saturday afternoon at the Goshen Soccer Complex in Indiana.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The game was scoreless until the final second of the first half, when the host Maple Leafs scored the first goal of the game and went ahead 1-0 at the half. 

In the second, Goshen went ahead 2-0 with a goal in the 64th minute, before Yan Brun found the back of the net in the 69th minute with a cross from the left side. Brun's goal cut the Maple Leafs lead in half.

Madonna found the equalizer in the 85th minute, as Ren Suzuki scored off an assist by Andres Gomez Rubiano. Less than three minutes later, the Crusaders went ahead for good 3-2 after Ryushin Hirami scored off a shot from 30 yards out.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Madonna outshot Goshen 22-8.
• The Crusaders took 14 corner kicks while the Maple Leafs took four. 
• It was Madonna's second straight 3-2 come from behind victory.

The Crusaders will return home on Wednesday, September 14th when they face Spring Arbor University at the Madonna Athletic Complex. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
