Crusaders Held Off by Gray Wolves

LIVONIA, Mich. -  On Friday from the Alliance Catholic Credit Union Arena the Madonna University women's basketball team lost 72-61 to WHAC foe Lourdes University.  

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

The Crusaders started slow and were down one after the first quarter 12-11. Jump starting the second quarter, Madonna came out fighting to gain a lead over Lourdes before entering the halftime break. While playing more lively throughout this quarter, the Crusaders still trailed behind Lourdes 37-29 at the end of the first half. 

Entering the second half, Madonna was still battling to gain control, but were unable to overcome the Gray Wolves and fell 72-61
