ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - The Crusaders continued to try and help their young team find its footing in their 79-57 loss to Rochester University (Mich.) at Garth Pleasant Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Crusaders got off to a hot start in the first quarter as freshman Delani Robinson scored 11 of the Crusaders' 20 points in the first. Madonna was up by seven after one but in the second the Warriors put a halt on the Crusaders offense outsourcing them 22-6 in the second. Madonna did play well on defense, holding the Warriors to only 22% shooting from distance. However, the Warriors would outscore the Crusaders 44-31 in the second half and Crusaders would drop this one 79-57.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
 

• Robinson lead the Crusaders with 15 and three rebounds
• Paige Humerickhouse finished with 13 points and three assists
• Marcela Rodriguez had six points and seven rebounds
