Graham Scores 24 in Saturday Loss at Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind.  -- Madonna University's Men's Basketball team was back in action as they took on the Indiana Tech Warriors at the  Schaefer Center where the Crusaders would fall short 79-76.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The first half was the Jordan Graham show as he scored 17 points on 6-9 shooting including two timely threes. The Crusaders Struggled to find their shot a little bit bu made up for it defensively. They were able to hold the Warriors to 37.8% shooting and only 23% from three. Despite that, with 1:30 left in the half Madonna found themselves down by five. That was until Graham went on a 5-0 run by himself, including a three from the right wing to beat the halftime buzzer to tie the game up at 34-34.

In the second half, the Warriors started to pull away, their largest lead of the night would be nine with around five minutes left. With just under two minutes, Indiana Tech made a clutch three to increase their lead to 73-67. The Crusaders come down the floor after a Warrior missed free throw and Brendan Young drills a three from the right corner making it 73-70. The very next possession, Indiana Tech knocks down two more free throws making it a two possession lead 75-70. Madonna pushes it up the floor and finds Young for yet another three to make it 75-73.

After two more free throws by the Warriors, Noah Campbell finds Ethan Emerzian for the Crusaders third straight three-pointer. Unfortunately, it was not enough as Madonna would run out of time and fall 79-76.
