FORT WAYNE, Ind.– The Madonna University men's soccer team traveled to Fort Wayne for their latest Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup against the Warriors of Indiana Tech. The Warriors are currently sitting in the top spot in the WHAC season standings.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Indiana Tech controlled the ball to start the game and including the goal that put them up 1-0 in the 19th minute on a penalty kick after a Madonna foul in the box.
- Neither team was able to score despite multiple solid chances by both sides of the ball.
- Indiana Tech's nail in the coffin was in the 80th minute when they were able to put a ball in the lower corner of the net.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Indiana Tech would lead the shots column 19-7 over Madonna and the shots on goal 7-4.
- The Crusaders goalie Damron would make some solid saves on the day that ended with four saves.
- Three Blue and Gold tallied two shots apiece including Caio Mazzo Nogueira, Ali Basma, Alexander Zaleczny.

- The Crusaders will play in the first of two straight home games as they will go up against the Saints of Siena Heights University on Saturday March 20 with a 1PM kickoff.
