WINONA LAKE, Ind. -- Madonna University's Women's Basketball team returned to action Saturday afternoon with a road contest against Grace College (Ind.) at the  Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center where they would fall 70-37.

• Grace was able to cause 31 Crusader turnovers, resulting in 34 points for Grace

HOW IT HAPPENED
 

• Madonna struggled from distance, going 0-11 from three tonight
• The Crusaders were held under 10 points in three out of the four quarters

INSIDE THE NUMBERS I
 

• April Hudelson led the Crusaders in scoring with 11 points, she also had four rebounds and a block to finish the game
• Megan Aho finished the game with eight points, eight rebounds and a steal
• Sharon Wooard tallied up eight points three rebounds and two assists

UP NEXT

The Crusaders are back in action this Tuesday as they return home to take on Indiana Wesleyan University with a 5:30 p.m. tip at the Alliance Catholic Credit Union Arena at the PAAAC.
