DEARBORN, Mich.-- Madonna University's Men's Soccer team wrapped up Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play Saturday afternoon as they were on the road against the University of Michigan-Dearborn falling 3-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

Madonna was aggressive early, Issei Ito had an opportunity 53 seconds in but sailed wide of the goal. 15 minutes later, the Crusaders would have another opportunity as Andres Felipe Gomez found ALi Basma for the score to go up 1-0. 14 minutes later at the 30:17 mark, the Crusaders would extend their lead to 2-0 off an own goal against the Wolverines.

However, after that the game swung into the Wolverines favor.  The Wolverines would get their first goal of the game at the 38:42 mark. In the second half, the tying goal would come in the 75th minute and the Wolverines would score their third straight goal and would win it in the 85th minute 3-2.

UP NEXT 

The Crusaders will play in the WHAC Tournament that will begin Saturday, November 6 at Aquinas College with a kickoff set for 11:00 a.m. Madonna has secured the No. 5 seed in the tournament and will travel to the No. 4 seed Aquinas College (Mich.)
