LIMA, Ohio.-- Madonna University's Men's Soccer team continued Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play Wednesday afternoon as they were on the road against University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) tying 0-0. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

UNOH came out strong to start the first half, in the first 20 minutes of the game the Racers were able to get off seven shots, of those seven one was on goal. In the first half the racers would outshoot Madonna 9-1 and 3-0 on goal. 

In the second half, Yossou Ouendeno was tested in goal yet again for the Crusaders. He made eight saves in the second half alone to keep the game tied. The Crusaders had a couple of opportunities to get on the board in this half. Alexander had one in the 63rd minute and Andres had two late in the 85th and 90th minutes but UNOH's keeper came away with the saves to send the game to overtime. 

In the first half of overtime it was a defensive battle, both teams were not able to get a single shot off. In the second half Ouendeno was tested one last time and came up big with the save and this one ended in a 0-0 tie.

• The Crusaders are in fifth place in the WHAC standings and are one point behind Aquinas in fourth

The Crusaders will wrap up the regular season this Saturday, October 30, at 3:00 p.m. as they are on the road against the University of Michigan-Dearborn at Fordson High School
