LIVONIA, Mich. - Madonna University homecoming weekend 2019 is just two days away and there are some events and parking procedures that the athletics department would like you to be aware of.

HOMECOMING ATHLETIC EVENTS

• Friday, Sept. 27
  • Men's Soccer Reserves vs. Lawrence Tech @ 4 PM
  • Volleyball vs. UNOH @ 7 PM
  • Trivia Night in the Franciscan Center - following volleyball
• Saturday, Sept. 28
  • Cruzer's Tailgate (see below)
  • Volleyball vs. Indiana Tech @ 1 PM
  • Men's Soccer vs. Lawrence Tech @ 2 PM
  • Women's Soccer vs. Lawrence Tech @ 4:30 PM

CRUZER'S TAILGATE

• WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 28 from 12-6 PM
• WHERE: The Madonna Athletics Complex Parking Lot
• WHO: All alumni, friends, family, and students 
• HOW: RSVP now at www.madonna.edu/homecoming
• WHAT: This tailgate will serve as the home for the anniversary celebrations for the women's golf and men's and women's cross country programs which are celebrating 15 years as well as the celebration of 25 years of men's soccer. In addition, we are also recognizing the men's golf program's first WHAC Championship while members of the Madonna football, dance and cheer teams will also be on hand to join in the celebration. 
  • 12-1 PM - Men's Soccer 25-year celebration
  • 12-1 PM - Cross Country 15-year celebration
  • 1-2:30 PM - Meet the Madonna football, cheer, and dance teams
  • 4-5 PM - Women's Golf 15-year celebration
  • 4-5 PM - Men's Golf WHAC Championship Celebration
• COST: The tailgate costs $10 per person and includes tailgate fare and drinks with a cash bar also available. The first 200 guests to pre-register will receive a Madonna University party cup.  Online registration ends for Cruzer's tailgate on Friday, September 27. On-site registration will be available. All alumni will receive one drink ticket. 

PARKING PROCEDURES (MAP)

• With Cruzer's Tailgate taking spaces in the MAC parking lot, said lot will be restricted to the following individuals:
  • Game Officials
  • MU Parents with Parking Pass (will be sent to student-athletes)
  • Handicap/Limited Mobility Individuals
  • LTU Bus
• The parking pass, however, does not guarantee parking in the MAC lot. Overflow and visitor parking is available at the Performing Arts, Athletics, and Academic Center located just south of the MAC on Newburgh Road.
