FORT WAYNE, Ind.- The Madonna University men's soccer team extended their winning streak to three matches as they beat St. Francis by a score of 4-0. The Crusaders are now 3-0 on the season, while the Cougars start their season with a 0-1 record.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Both teams got off their shots early in the first half.
• In the 26th minute, Yuri Farkas got the scoring started for the Crusaders as he beat the keeper on a penalty kick
• Farkas was at it again in the second half as he was able to pound home his own rebound for the 2-0 lead.
• Enzo Peloso continued the Crusaders in the 57th minute as he put a shot that the Cougar goalie slowed down but not enough as it rolled into the goal.
• Farkas capped the high scoring night in the 87th minute on an assist from Fredrick Bernbom from 17 yards out as he beat the goalie to the far side of the net.

INSIDE THE BOX

• The Crusaders are now 6-1 against the Cougars as they have now won six straight
• The Blue and Gold outshot St. Francis 23-11 and 13-5 in SOG's 
• Farkas' penalty kick was his career leading tenth in his Madonna career
