ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Madisen Henry, who nearly tossed a no-hitter on Sunday, completed the feat on Friday afternoon at Alumni Field on the campus of the University of Michigan as she struck out nine Wolverines with four walks in a 5-inning no-hitter and a 9-0 win over the University of Michigan - Dearborn. 
Ciera Jones allowed just two hits in game two, also a 9-0 win in five innings, to help the Madonna University softball team remain unbeaten on the road.
GAME 1: Madonna 9, Michigan-Dearborn 0 (5 innings)
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
	- Henry was the story as she threw the 16th no-hitter since 2000 and the first since April 24, 2015
- The offense, which collected 13 hits, did it's part as the Crusaders scored multiple runs in the first, second and fifth innings
- A wild pitch and a Halee Warren sacrifice fly made it 2-0 in the first then a Makayla Bassage sac fly and a Sarah Holton single pushed the lead to four in the second
- Kerstyn Comerzan plated a run with a sacrifice in the third and drove in another with a single in the fifth
- Emma Sikina singled home a pair to make it 8-0 and a Selena Deault base hit plated the final run
WHAT DO THE NUMBERS SAY?
	- Henry (7-7) faced 18 batters in the contest and had nine strikeouts in her five innings
- Holton, Johnson, Brooklyn Dolloff and Sikina each collected two hits while Johnson, Kattie Popko and Dolloff each scored twice
- Madonna did not strikeout in the contest

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
	- Jones allowed just one runner to reach second base and the offense scored at least one run in all five innings
- A Warren sacrifice fly got the scoring started, Comerzan doubled home a run and Dolloff plated another for a 3-0 lead after one
- Popko delivered a big hit in the second with a three-run home run
- Becky Giacobbi plated a run in the third, Johnson stole home in the fourth and Jenna Gilbert drove in the ninth run in the fifth
WHAT DO THE NUMBERS SAY?
	- Popko and Dolloff paced the eight-hit attack with two each
- Popko scored twice and drove in three runs while Johnson scored three times on one hit and a pair of hit-by-pitches
- Jones faced just 19 batters as she allowed two hits, walked one and struck out one to improve to 13-3 on the season
- Madonna is now 17-2 all-time against UM-Dearborn and have won seven straight
