WEST POINT, Ga. The second-ranked Madonna University men's lacrosse team outscored No. 7 Keiser University 6-2 over the final 23 minutes to secure a 10-7 top-10 victory over their NAIA foe in a neutral site contest at River Bowl Stadium on Sunday. The Crusaders improve to 3-0 on the year and were led by Cole Gingell who netted the game-winner.

  • A 4-0 MU run in the third quarter that turned a deficit into an 8-5 lead
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
  • The Blue and Gold defense limited the Seahawks to two first half goals while Gingell scored twice, Anthony Salamone and Ryan Flaherty eached added one for a 4-2 lead at the half.
  • Keiser scored the final goal in the 2nd quarter and scored the first three in the third to take a 5-4 lead
  • Madonna responded with a 4-0 run - Harry Dyson, Ian Rush, Tyler Kilar and Gingell scored - to take an 8-5 advantage
