No. 15 @MUCrusadersMSOC earn the 2-0 victory

LIVONIA, Mich.  -  After a big win in the women's soccer game just before the Madonna University Men's soccer team followed with another win. The Crusaders started the game slow but then got the lead and they were able to coast to a 2-0 victory over Rochester College.
With the win the Crusaders improve to 7-2-2 on the year and 4-1 in the WHAC while Rochester College falls to 3-7-1 overall and 1-4 in league play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Neither team started hot as they each were able to take their shots throughout most of the first half
  • The game looked like it was going to go into halftime as a 0-0 tie but a cross into the box from Bruno Piva de Castro to Ryan Lynch put the Crusaders up 1-0 with only four seconds remaining in the first half.
  • The only other goal in the game came from Breno Stapcinskas as he scored his fifth goal of the season on a kick that was from just outside the box.
INSIDE THE BOX
  • The Crusaders are now 10-2-1 all-time against the Warriors.
  • Madonna put nine of their 19 shots on goal in the contest while the Warriors managed five shots with two on frame
  • MU also had five corner kicks to three for the away team
  • Rodrigo Castro de Siqueira(six shots, three on goal), Yuri Farkas Guglielmi (three shots, one on goal) and multiple players with two shots paced the MU offense
