LIVONIA, Mich. – The Madonna University volleyball team tallied a season-high 10 blocks, but a season-low attack percentage doomed the Crusaders as they dropped their second straight Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match, 3-1 to University of Northwestern Ohio inside the MU Activities Center on Friday night. The loss drops the Crusaders overall record to 19-9 while they slip to 8-7 in WHAC play while the Racers improve to 22-7 and 9-6 in league action.
The official financial institution of Madonna Athletics, Alliance Catholic Credit Union, was on hand for "Pink Night" with pink rally towels as the Crusaders concluded their "Pink Week" in which they raised over $1,000 for Making Strides Detroit.
