VIERA, FL. – Madonna softball used a dominant pitching performance and a seven-run sixth inning to pull away from Judson University for a 9–1 victory on March 7 at the Space Coast Complex. The win kept the Crusaders perfect on the season, improving their record to 12–0.

Judson struck first in the second inning, capitalizing on a pair of singles and a fielder's choice RBI to take a 1–0 lead. Madonna pitcher Camille Oyer settled in quickly after that early run, limiting the Eagles' offense the rest of the way. Oyer threw a complete game, allowing just one run on six hits while striking out four to earn her third win of the season.

The Crusaders responded in the bottom of the third inning. After Regan Finkbeiner reached base, Ashley Rosiewicz drove a double to center field to tie the game. Moments later, Faith Cramton delivered a clutch RBI double of her own to put Madonna ahead 2–1.

Madonna maintained that lead into the sixth before breaking the game open with a decisive offensive outburst. Cramton started the rally with another extra-base hit, and Ella Thomas brought her home with an RBI single. The Crusaders continued to apply pressure as Faith Peschke lined a two-run single to center field. Brynn Anteau followed with a two-RBI single, and Cramton capped the inning with another two-run hit to seal the 9–1 victory.

Cramton led the Madonna offense with three hits and three RBIs, while Anteau and Peschke each drove in two runs. Rosiewicz added an RBI double as the Crusaders totaled nine hits and five walks in the win.

With the strong pitching effort and late offensive explosion, Madonna continued its impressive start to the season while closing out its matchup with Judson in convincing fashion.
