ADRIAN, Mich.-- The Madonna University Women's Cross Country team competed fervently in the WHAC Championships held on November 7, 2025, clinching fourth place in a challenging Collegiate 6K event. The Crusaders showcased their resilience against a lineup of formidable opponents including Cornerstone, Aquinas, and Indiana Tech, among others.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Madonna University team completed the course with a collective time of 2:00:02.1. This commendable performance was highlighted by several standout individual finishes.
Tyfane Martins led the Crusaders, finishing 14th with a competitive time of 22:46.8. Close behind,
Izzie Lashaway secured the 15th position, clocking in at 22:58.2. Other notable performances included
Elizabeth Dancey, who took the 28th spot with a time of 24:11.7, and
Raelyn McLaughlin, finishing 33rd with a time of 24:46.3.
Lauren Hamilton and
Eleanor Kroetsch also contributed significantly, finishing 35th and 36th, respectively, with times of 25:19.3 and 25:36.9.
Whitney Ricks rounded out the strong team showing, finishing 38th with a time of 25:42.3.

Looking ahead, the Crusaders are set to compete in the NAIA Nationals on November 21, 2025, in Tallahassee, Fla., where they will look to capitalize on their experiences from the WHAC Championships.
