HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders and Yellow Jackets faced off in their first ever matchup against one another and their first matchup as conference foes. This game was all Crusaders especially in the first half. They capitalized very early, just 20 seconds into the game, Nadine Jawad would get her first goal of the game to make it 1-0. Jawad would then follow up with her second goal of the game in the 9th minute, assisted by Molly Cote to make it 2-0. Then it was Cote's turn as she would score back to back unassisted goals in the 11th and 23rd minute to make it a 4-0 game. The Crusaders still were not done as it was Lillian Hayter's turn in the 36th minute for her first goal of the season assisted by Angelina Moracinni and Jade Murdoch to make it 5-0. Then the final goal of the first half would come from Canses Gibson assisted by Marlena Ballnik to make it 6-0 heading into halftime.

In the second half, the Crusaders seemed to take their foot off the gas as they only would score one goal in the second half despite their six goal outburst in the first half. The final goal of the game would come in the 60th minute from Eva Parker for her first goal of the season assisted by Molly Cote which was her second assist of the game.
