LIVONIA, Mich. – The Madonna University Crusaders Men's Soccer Team faced the Aquinas Saints in the WHAC Tournament Semi-Final Game. The Crusaders were coming off a 4-0 win against the Cornerstone Golden Eagles in the quarter-final game but were unfortunately met with disappointment as they fell to the Saints 0-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Crusaders and Saints started out with about 35 minutes of a feeling out process as the last time they faced each other was back in late September. Then at the 35:55 minute make the Saints opened the scoring as Yussef Hakmaoui placed a beautiful corner kick to Joshua Clemitson as he heads the ball into the back of the goal. Roughly two minutes later, Mason Sills notched the Saints' second goal of the game assisted by Ricardo Rittersberger.
Mason Sills puts the nail in the coffin at the 56:10 minute mark as Sills pots his second goal of the game as Yussef Hakmaoui records his second assist of the game.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The Crusaders recorded 13 shots with two being on goal.

The Madonna University Men's Soccer Team will be back in action as they will take part in the NAIA National Tournament.
