LIVONIA, Mich. – The Crusaders' Women's Soccer Team took on the Gray Wolves of Lourdes University on a slightly windy Wednesday afternoon. The Crusaders are coming off a 0-2 loss against Sienna Heights University. Sadly, the Crusaders dropped today's game to the Gray Wolves 0-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
As the first half started the Gray Wolves and Crusaders went back and forth both trying to create opportunities to score. A little bit over the half-way mark in the first half, junior defender, Cecily Hughes picks up the pass from Taylir Lynam and secures the goal for the Gray Wolves at the 29:00 minute mark.
The pace of play remained roughly the same for the remainder of the first half and the second half. Both teams generated opportunities but could not piece it all together. The Gray Wolves would hand the Crusaders their fifth loss in conference play.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The Crusaders would record seven shots with three being on goal.
- Vitoria Sia finished with two shots with one being on goal.
- Each team finished with five corner kicks.

The Women's Soccer Team will hit the road to take on Cornerstone University in their regular season finale on Wednesday October 30, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
