Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Crusaders fall at Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - On Wednesday afternoon the Madonna women's soccer team (9-7-1, 6-4 WHAC) lost 1-0 at Indiana Tech (5-9-2, 3-5-2 WHAC). 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The only goal of the contest was scored in the sixth minute, as Danielle Dunn put one in the back of the net for the Warriors. The Crusaders held a 5-2 shot advantage in the first half, but failed to tie the game. 

In the second half, Madonna upped the pressure as they outshot Indiana Tech 10-5. The Warriors however got a strong second half from goalkeeper Michaela Bitle. She made seven second half saves to keep the Crusaders off the scoreboard.
