Crusaders open WHAC play with a win over the Wolverines

LIVONIA, Mich. –  The Madonna University's Women's Soccer Team played well in a 2-0 victory against the University of Michigan Dearborn on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Crusaders came out determined to get a win and they did just that. It started with a goal by Holly McManus in the 35th minute, assisted by Kirsten Foor. They would then score a second goal in the 44th minute by Vitoria Sia to end the first half. That would be the final goal of the game as no goals were scored in the second half.

  • The Crusaders outshot the Wolverines 10-7
  • Brooke Bruletti had 4 saves on the day
UP NEXT
The Crusaders will be on the road on Wednesday September 28th when they travel to take on Cleary University at 7:00 pm in Howell, Mich.
