Crusaders Fall to the Trojans

UPLAND, Ind. –  The Madonna University's Women's Soccer Team fell 3-0 to Taylor University on Friday evening at Turner Stadium.


HOW IT HAPPENED

The Trojans came out hot in today's game scoring early in the first half at the 16th minute. After that the Trojans would not look back, scoring two more goals in the second half at the 56:00 and not even 60 seconds later would score the third and final goal of the game.  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • The Crusaders were outshot 32-4, with 13-1 on goal 
  • Brooke Bruletti did however have 10 saves

UP NEXT

The Crusaders will be back in action Tuesday September 20th when they travel to Spring Arbor University (Mich.) as they take on the No. 2 ranked Cougars at 7:00 pm at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
