LIVONIA, Mich. –  The Madonna University's Women's Soccer Team played well in a 1-0 victory over Lourdes University on Wednesday afternoon. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
Brooke Bruletti did not see a whole lot of action in goal today as the Crusaders defense had a strong standing, giving the Gray Wolves almost 0 chances to score as they held them to just 4 shots all game none of which were on goal. The Crusaders offense had a lot of chances but would only find the back of the net in the 32nd minute from the head of Holly McManus to get her 3rd goal of the season, assisted by Abby Werthman. 

This would be all the Crusaders would need to take home a 1-0 victory.

The Crusaders will be back at home on Saturday October 8th when they take on Siena Heights University. Kickoff is set for 2:30 pm.
