LIVONIA, Mich. - The Madonna University women's soccer team dominated Siena Heights University in front of nearly 300 fans in a 3-0 homecoming victory at the Madonna Athletics Complex on Saturday afternoon.
The win snaps a seven-match losing streak against the Adrian, Michigan program. The last MU win in the series, which is now tied at 19 since 2005, came in 2013 when MU swept a pair of meetings by a total score of 4-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED

FIRST HALF

The Blue and Gold wasted no time getting on the board as Nicolette Vultaggio peppered the net with a shot and the rebound bounced to the foot of Alexis Bozinovski who slotted it in the upper left 90 for the 1-0 lead just five minutes into play.

Less than 14 minutes later is was Vultaggio who rifled a shot just below the crossbar in the upper left corner to make it a two score affair.

The Blue and Gold finished with 19 shots to Siena Heights' 10 which included a 12-6 margin in the second half. MU put nine shots on goal to SHU's six.
