@MUCrusadersWSOC drops decision on senior day

LIVONIA, Mich.-  On a cool, rainy afternoon the Madonna University women's soccer team honored five seniors before the game, but it was Cornerstone University who celebrated at the end of the day as the Golden Eagles pulled out a 1-0 win at the Madonna Athletics Complex on Saturday afternoon. The loss drops the Crusaders to 12-4-2 overall and 7-2-2 in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play while the Golden Eagles improve to 9-7-1 on the year and 5-5-1 in league action.

The loss drops Madonna to fourth in the WHAC standings and means they will host Siena Heights in the conference quarterfinals on Wednesday.
