HOWELL, Mich. - The Madonna University women's soccer team scored three second half goals and played stellar defense to secure a fourth straight shutout, this time a 4-0 win over Cleary University at Lake Trust Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. The win moves the Crusaders to 10-2-1 overall and 5-0-1 in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play while the Cougars slip to 6-5-1 on the year and 1-4-1 in league action.

Madonna outshot Cleary 20-9 in the contest, 9-2 in the first 45 and 11-7 in the second, with 14 shots on goal to the Cougars' three.

Vultaggio, Jamie Moceri, Brianna Mozariwskyj, Henning and Nissan each attempted three shots with 11 of them on frame led by Vultaggio's three.

Julia Stewart made all three saves she need to in the shutout, her ninth of the season. She is now three shy of setting the single-season shutout record.
